Leonard Nimoy, the original Mr. Spock in the Star Wars sadly passed away earlier today at the age of 83. May he forever live long and prosper in our hearts.  

I'm surfing the 'net as I always do and I come across a couple of stories about Jason Momoa confirmed to play Aquaman in the BvS movie. Of course, I was shocked about that casting. Then again, these castings are coming out of left field. First Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, then Jason Eisenberg as Lex Luthor (though I can't envision him as that megalomaniac), now this casting. I hope he pulls it off, but I'm not sure if I can see him as a blond. I'm also wondering if the King of Atlantis is going to be clean shaven, have a 5 o'clock shadow, or go full on beard. What do you think? *shrugs*

What a nightmare! As I said, Sandy was a bitch of a storm. I was one of the lucky ones. I only lost power for two seconds and my house is still in one piece and my basement, which has a reputation for flooding, is still dry. My area experienced more very gusty wind than rain. But many people were not so lucky. I can't help but feel bad for those who lost power and especially those who lost everything. My jaw dropped at the sight of so many neighborhoods that are still flooded, houses being flooded or completely destroyed. Losing two days of work due to the MTA shutdown is nothing compared to what many people lost. My heart goes out to those who lost so much more than that. Hopefully, no one goes through a bitch storm like Sandy again. Back to somewhat normal. Stay strong!
